Kobi Mantzur is an Israeli CTO and the Co-Founder & CTO of Zorba (YC W22) with 15+ years of experience, ex-MyHeritage and ex-American Express Israel / Isracard. He specializes in agentic engineering, spec-driven development and AI-DLC.
I've spent 15 years turning ideas into products that scale. As co-founder and CTO of Zorba, I built an AI-powered real-estate marketplace from the first line of code, automating over 70% of a realtor's work and selling 150+ homes to institutional buyers like Blackstone. We went through Y Combinator (W22), raised $4M in VC funding, and later launched a real-estate market intelligence tool licensed to First American.
Before Zorba I started the web infrastructure team at MyHeritage, built the developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines that let engineers ship code securely to millions of users, and built SaaS products that drove over $2.5M in combined ARR. Earlier, I led all engineering teams behind the American Express Israel and Isracard web platforms, used by almost 50% of credit card holders in Israel.
Today my focus is the agentic SDLC: helping engineering teams move from vibe coding to agentic engineering with spec-driven development and AI-DLC, on tools like GitHub Copilot, VS Code agent mode and Claude Code. I also work with companies on AI architecture, technical RevOps and as a fractional CTO.
